This being one of the largest and most dangerous events in Wisconsin, I passed the event last week and it looked like a total jigsaw puzzle. Much respect to the tower crews and the law enforcement for the transition into the event. It is a massive event for a "rural" city.

I really feel for him, he didn’t mean to cause difficulties, but clearly wasn’t prepared for this. Controllers were amazing.

As someone naive on flying and airport procedures, why is this airport so confusing? A random airport in a small Wisconsin town that seems to have a whole lot of traffic for some reason and there is always videos of how difficult it is to fly into.

What’s most impressive here is that the pilot literally was an air traffic controller at one point in time. There’s no realm in which he should be flying & be this confused.

I’ve been a controller for 40 years, both in the military and civil side, these controllers are phenomenal and did an outstanding job. Such a credit to our profession. Good looking out guys! You never get enough credit! I tip my hat to you!!!!

I feel bad for the guy, I live near oshkosh.. it's a tense situation and your in the sky. maybe this was a life long dream/ goal. have some patience and understanding!
