Not a lie. You called and tried to order a breathing treatement. The doctors are the only ones who can order those. Next time just request a doctors appointment

Wow that’s frustrating! Is the breathing treatment just like a nebulizer usually used for asthma or something entirely different? Asking because I had to have the machine at home for my daughter when she was little. Wondering if that would help to have on hand if it’s the same thing.

My niece has always gotten her breathing treatments at the doctors office when she’s sick like that without going to ER first. So I would say something! I have also gotten them at doctors office for asthma before!

You have the doctor request insurance for you to have a nebulizer and albuteral at home …from someone who has always had asthma 💜

Yeah I'd be pissed! Those treatments can even be done at home if you get the nebulizer prescribed (which regular doc could totally prescribe). My oldest had that around age 3 and we just did it at home

I have a nebulizer at home, Elliot needed breathing treatments when he was a baby. If you have the option go to urgent care instead of the ER when you can't get in to the pediatrician.
