if Russia grants a long ceasefire, zelinsky will just use it to restock his weapons, so strategically Russia isn't going to accept that without ukraine giving assurances of some sort. also Ukraine needs to just accept it lost some territory for the sake of peace and promise not to enter NATO. thats enough for Russia

A 30-day ceasefire? That’s just pressing pause on a fire, not putting it out. Ukraine asking for that may sound humane, but without a clear path to end the war, it’s theatre. Ceasefires only delay more bloodshed. Real wisdom is in asking: How do we end the war completely and build a just peace? Not how to briefly mute the gunfire.

Russia will never agree to ceasfire Unless they have no other choice! I mean if diplomacy didnt work in ww2 how on earth will diplomacy work now?! Im not saying diplomacy isn't needed but diplomacy with a dictator is pointless unless the dictator has fallen

Russia never wanted peace they want Ukraine. Why should they invaded Ukraine in first place. BTW they invaded FIVE years after they was denied Nato membership and declared themselves Neutral.
