Wait…. So if I find a home that’s 200k but we want to redo the kitchen bathroom add a mother in-law suite a deck finish the basement etc as long as we find an approved contractor is there a loan where we can buy and have all the work done? Are pools and allowed?

Do we contact a contractor before loan approval to see if we can afford the renovation because what if it’s a 1970s home that has unknown stuff like asbestos or even mold
