My mother took a very unexpected turn in politics these last few years. She was always a logical and empathetic person putting morals first in every scenario. The MAGA rabbit hole turned her into someone else. She doesn't believe in climate change at all. She thinks teleportation with zero-point energy exists. She thinks white people are oppressed. She supports Isreal. And of course, demands "all" illegals to be out. We live in upstate NY in Amish territory. It is terrible and sad to see.
