That is excessive and causes mental distress! Punishments needs to be reasonable and equal. Role reversal is helpful with this. Punishment should be primarily lesson based. Forgetting to unload a dishwasher as an adult just means adjusting the schedule not a life time ban in a game. If you wouldn’t do it to yourself then try something else.
