Hi Jeep, I’m reaching out because I urgently need help getting a transfer case for my 2020 Jeep Cherokee. I visited a dealership and was informed the part is on backorder, with an estimated wait time of 40 days or more. When I contacted FCA Customer Care to request a rental vehicle—since this is clearly a failure on the company’s part to supply a critical component—I was offered no assistance at all. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering I’ve spent $45,000 on this vehicle, and it’s my second Jeep. The dealership advised me that the vehicle is not safe to drive and to keep it parked until further notice. It’s incredibly frustrating to be making monthly payments, paying insurance, and not even be able to use the car. This situation is unacceptable for a brand like Jeep, and I hope someone will step up to help resolve this issue.
