The sit to stand test doesn't trigger me but the tilt table test with the nitro tablet was horrible.

my tilt table test wasn't done properly they had me take my medicine to regulate my heart before the test and then wouldn't redo it.

How do you find a Dr who will take you seriously or actually diagnose you? My current one said it’s probably dysautonomia of some sort, I just don’t know which one because that is not my focus, drink more water and eat salty food.

I didn’t have a TTT for the same reason as well! Some people will say the diagnosis isn’t real bc I wasn’t diagnosed that way. But I trust my cardiologist. He’s been doing this many years. When you think ab it, TTT really isn’t necessary and is just torture

My doctor said the same thing! That there was no need to torture me. He was confident I had POTS but said he couldn’t officially put it in my chart without the test so he just put tachycardia. He said he would do the test if I wanted it, but he didn’t see the need

my insurance wouldn't pay for my treatment unless i got a tilt table test. the simple drink more water, electrolytes, salt, compression socks weren't enough for me. i had to get a port and now get iv fluids twice a week.

i faint from standing, have a racing heart all the time, can’t stand in the shower without chest pain and blacking out, etc. my doctors checked my heart and it was fine so they said it must be pots. i never had a tilt table test either!

I need your advice! My neurologist diagnosed me with pots but she said I should go to a more specialized neurologist that deals with more pots patients and he wants me to get a tilt table test. My neurologist said, even though he knows that I have pots the data will be more specific from this test and that will be helpful to know what to do from there. I rarely pass out and it’s usually just for a few seconds every few months. Should I do the test or what should I do?
