I was in ministry for 12 years and felt the furthest from God…one day as I was praying, I thought…never should I be so busy about the fathers business that I lose myself completely as a person…a few people will have to reread that statement…I’ve never felt more free in my life after i realized how important it was to keep my relationship with God intact vertically and not horizontally. 💕

judas wasn't close to god. he had no faith in god other wise he would have listened to jesus. he killed himself because he felt he deserved no forgiveness.

I understand where this statement is trying to say but it doesn’t state it well. This implies Judas was used by God in the same way as His faithful servants..like he was fulfilling his role. But we need to remember that Judas was not a “tool” because he still CHOSE to betray Jesus. It’s more accurate to say something along the lines of “Spiritual activity will not promise spiritual intimacy. For example Judas who was close to Jesus physically can be far from Him in heart.” I’m not trying to be rude but flaws do arise in the original statement.
