Most of the problem comes with them leaving trash outside the trash bin and we got ticketed for it so we had to lock it. The tickets were hefty, like 500.00 per ticket.

Native Texan here & in my area (about an hour northeast of Houston) I’ve went to dumpsters 2-3 times over the years looking for empty boxes for moving & every time I did, a cop pulled up & told me that I wasn’t allowed to get anything from any stores dumpster & told me I needed to leave immediately.. And each time I was in different towns/cities so it wasn’t just the same police/sheriffs department telling me that, I’ve always been under the impression it was illegal here lol
