I’m 52. I’ve been overweight my whole life. Been on and off diets since I was a teen. Started a GLP 1 in 2023. I’m down 130 lbs (and still overweight). I wish I had these meds as a teen. We don’t question adhd meds and anxiety/ depression meds for kids why these?

I don’t understand this, my doc said the same thing, she says that my yo-yo dieting is a red flag for this med. but if my bp was elevated I would most likely be on a med for the rest of my life? Why is this different?
