After chatting with my son’s ABA intake supervisor I started feeling super overwhelmed yesterday and then it didn’t help that I was at work as well and that my mom is out of the country so I can’t talk to her at the moment But I’m just feeling super overwhelmed because he already has two play therapist one that he sees once a month another one that he sees once a week and then they were talking about wanting to add the ABA therapy five days a week on top of that he’s in kindergarten five days a week. but also with my and my husband‘s work schedule Mondays, we were saying wasn’t really doable but then she messaged wondering if there was somebody to pick up but that’s difficult because he’s with my mother-in-law on Mondays, but then she sometimes has the other grandkids and it would just be too difficult so at the moment we’re gonna try Monday’s out and then I didn’t want him to have to do double therapy on Thursdays so I think we’re just gonna try for three days a week and hopefully we can get the time slot right after school but I’m just kind of also overwhelmed with. Does he not get to do extracurricular stuff or like how frowned upon it is for him to miss days when we do either trips or family things we have something coming up in August where we would end up missing two days and then we have a trip in October and December where he’d miss all 3 days granted he still technically on the waitlist so they’re hoping they can get them in within the next few weeks but the original wait time was 3 to 4 months and we’ve only been on the waitlist for about a month and a half.
