@wickedwirecrafts: Replying to @DayDreamersMenagerie Horseshoe crabs are such a cool & ancient creature! They’ve existed for more than 400 million years. 🤯 (That means they survived dinosaurs, continent formations, & ice ages!) I remember frequently seeing these as a kid when I would visit the Carolina coast, & being so fascinated. To me, they have always looked like something from another planet. I suppose in a sense, they are! Earth was likely a very different place way back when these guys started crawling around the ocean floor. This was such a fun challenge to make! I chose a labradorite stone for this piece & wrapped it in oxidized copper wire.
