The people in the comments have no courtesy/respect for their friends and it’s very telling. She is simply saying that everyone in the group trip has to do their part collectively. With the bags for example, she isn’t saying take all the bags in yourself, she is saying don’t stand in front of the boot collectively trying to figure out who’s bag is who’s. Take what you can and put it in the house, the next friend will do the same and so on, this also just save precious holiday time. With the coffee run, again you do not have to do it specifically or alone, but let’s say you all had a amazing night out, one of your friends wakes up earlier than everyone and thinks “hey, how cute would it be if I go pick up some pastries from the bakery down the road for my girls.” She’s talking about courtesy and thinking of everyone on this trip. After all you are suppose to be on this trip with your friends, you take care of them, they take care of you. If they don’t, then they are good group trippers. Why is it so hard for people to treat their friends without the expectation of a return
