@taylorjenefisher: Calling out 1990-1995 babies specifically is funny to me because that would be everyone who was in grade 7-12 during these photos. The kids I went to class with, rode the bus with, and attended the town fair with. I actually remember this specific group very well, and I think you’re right. We’ve always been weird. I think we got lucky and had the golden age of childhoods. Technology before social media was everything, fashion before being trendy was important, having “woke” ideas before respectability politics. Obama was elected when I was a freshman in high school and gay marriage was legal before I finished college.
