I ordered a foundation but it was way too light, so the DoorDash rep said you had to start the return via the app and it gives you a code to give to the rep ?! I haven’t done it yet but I hope they’ll still take it 😅😭

That’s why I didn’t take the risk and get foundations or concealers. I got stuff I’ve been wanting to try like skincare, lipliner and setting spray my dasher did a good job even though he gave me someone else’s order at first lol 😭

Happened to me with huda lip stain i went to exchange it because it got substituted and was told i can only return it and if i want new chade i have to pay full price😏

I’m a worker and also did the deal. This is why on DoorDash I put a substitute for the perfume I really wanted (I knew it was in stock bc I work there though) and has instructions that said “please ask employee and show screen to them” I knew it would be a guy picking the order, you always gotta leave instructions like you’re making it easy for the most incompetent person to get it correct. It’s unfortunate to go through extra lengths for something that humans can’t use common sense on

Honestly, I don’t think it was the Door Dashers fault! I did this deal yesterday and it allowed ME to choose up to 3 substitutions, get a refund or for them to contact me. But I did notice that if you chose “Substitute” it automatically generates substitutions for you, so unless you change them… you are going to get stuck with the default. I had to review several times before I submitted. Ideally you don’t want your item to be out of stock so that’s probably why you didn’t pay too much attention to that portion but I did notice it suggested similar items but I had to change them. Luckily they had everything I wanted 🥵
