If you're a re-reader, I like to do different color pens for each re-read. Write the date of the re-read on the beginning of the book in the corresponding color. It's interesting to see how the things you pick up on change over time & circumstance! ❤️

I ask Chat GPT to pretend to the author and I converse with them about topics I disagree with or need more clarity on. I also ask for advice to see how the "author" would interpret my situation. It's been enlightening but fully aware it's an algorithm but has been helpful to me

I do summaries in the margins or post-it’s too. :) Sometimes I realize it’s okay not to understand a dense paragraph so I’ll just write “what was bro yapping about??” & mark it as something to go back to. lol
