Whenever you’re making rice, you put the same amount of water/broth as the amount of rice you put in. Once the water is fully evaporated, you cover , leave on low heat and let sit. Never lift the lid! You need to allow all that steam to fluff the rice. Don’t even check on it. Just leave it until your protein is done cooking. I promise you’ll get the softest most fluffiest rice you ever made. Once you perfect rice you’ll start making it like a pro with your eyes closed I promise. It definitely looked delish tho 👏🏼✨👨🍳

You both are so cute and I love you mom! It took me forever to get my mom’s Spanish rice recipe right. I learned through much trial on error that you need to let the rice toast to a light brown color and then add the broth. Mix it all together. Cover it for 20 minutes on low heat. Do not open the lid whatsoever! After the 20 minutes, turn off the heat and then let it sit for five minutes without opening the lid. And you should have fluffy rice.✨
