Cambodia army fired a BM-21 rocket at a school and hospital which is protected by geneva convention. And a week ago they laid an anti-personal land mine in a disputed area and that is a violation of the Ottava convention. You can litterally search up the news. And you will see that cambodian side casualty were mainly a military target while in Thailand's side casualty were mainly civilian.

On July 24, 2025, Cambodian military units opened fire on Thai positions without provocation, leading to an escalation of hostilities in the area. Disturbingly, several Cambodian projectiles landed within civilian zones, including direct hits on a hospital facility—an act in clear violation of the Geneva Conventions, which strictly prohibit attacks on medical and civilian infrastructure during armed conflict. Additionally, Cambodian forces deployed anti-personnel landmines near civilian communities and military outposts, causing grievous injuries to Thai soldiers. Many have suffered the loss of limbs, permanent disabilities, and tragically, some have lost their lives in the line of duty while defending Thailand's sovereignty. Equally troubling is the spread of misinformation and fabricated narratives by Cambodian state media and online platforms. These false claims not only distort the truth but also incite hostility and hinder regional peace efforts. Thailand remains committed to peaceful dialogue, regional stability, and adherence to international humanitarian law. However, we reserve the right to defend our territory, protect our people, and respond proportionately to any future acts of aggression. We call on the international community to condemn these violations and urge Cambodia to return to constructive dialogue and respect for international norms. Thailand stands for peace—but will never stand down when its sovereignty and people are under threat.

What must be condemned as a clear violation of humanitarian principles is the deliberate attack on innocent Thai civilians and the assault on a hospital. Everyone knows that hospitals are places where the elderly and children are present in large numbers. This doesn’t even include the convenience stores that were also attacked. How many people died? How many were injured? Surely, you cannot claim ignorance — you knew there were people inside the hospital, didn’t you? Cambodian military forces launched an attack on a hospital and a gas station located within Thai territory. The explosion at the gas station was a 7-11 and there were many people inside. The bombings resulted in the death of one student and several civilians. Cambodia also bombed a hospital.
