Mainstream parents say we're putting our kids in a bubble, but the look on our son's face when we're driving passed a school bus on our way to/from a long day of activities is all the validation I need! Not mentioned: dollar store! omgggg look up craft ideas!!! Hobbies! We LOVE crochet! Baking, cooking, ect. I never learned to have hobbies as a kid & didn't realize I can monetize off them until I was much older, so building skills is a HUGE thing for us! I think of homeschooling as raising future entrepreneurs, while regular school teaches them to follow authority & someone else's schedule to set them up for a 9-5. Idk about yall but my kids are NOT gonna be living on someone else's time!! #homeschool #homeschoolersoftiktok
