So basically as a kid i lived in the upstairs of my house, my room was in a position in such that i had to go through my moms room and through a little hall to get to the bathroom, thing is the hall is short but pitch black and literally as you exit my moms room to the right is stairs going down and just a few cm more is the door to the attic and then the bathroom, the hall has like a little light but if you turn it on the stairs become absolutely pitch pitch black, like vanta black, maybe just a few mm of visibility. One night it was stormy asf and i just finished watching the rake origin story when i got that need to tinkle but kinda didn't want cause you already know the predicament id put myself in. But hey my stomach started hurting from holding it in too long so i guess i had to go. I go through the hall and everything is alright i guess, i do my business but i hear something like a footstep, and since there was like a half floor area between the ground floor and 1 floor the floor is very creaky so you know someone's coming and there's like a little window. Since im a little kid i don't wanna scare myself so i just told myself its the house settling. I was up and head to the little hall and then thunder crashes and casts light through the little window. And i kid you not the rake was there in his usual crouch pose, ofc i ran into my moms room and just slammed the door before running into my room. Ofc the rake isn't real and wasn't actually there, it was a vase for flowers and it was white and i saw something reflective so i thought it was eyes, but i genuinely thought if i went to sleep that i wouldn't wake up

Nah cuz the rake was ACTUALLY captured on real night cam footage - guy had a camera set up to capture footage of deer for hunting, he ended up capturing the rake on camera, and that’s the picture of the rake we always see. It was literally on the news once 😭

I’m in Aus my friend dreamt the rake was on the end of his bed and said “callummm” (his brothers name). He’d never heard of the creepypasta. A day later His bro had an accident, resulting in needing to operate on his knee. They opened his knee and found tumours in there. If he didn’t have an accident they wouldn’t have found them.
