There’s more combinations in clash that are harder to counter with just a single deck also clash royal the pace changes as the game progress which means you constantly have to adapt different play styles especially against a range of decks, chess could be seen as more difficult only by the time it takes to memorise different situations because most of the situations your in, in chess has been done before. chess won’t update btw clash meta always changes its easy to be good at chess with practice but harder to be good at clash no matter how long you play
