The difference is melee heroes have cooldowns on their source of damage while Hela barely has any cooldowns so missing shots with Hela isn't as punishing as missing a dash with bp or Magik

The skill required to get value out of a melee character is just as much required as a projectile/hitscan. You have the luxury of keeping your distance melee characters don't. less likely to get countered too.

spidey has to hit a slow moving projectile while moving at max speed. also has to hit his pulls if you want any value, which is the hardest thing to aim in the game. claiming he doesn’t require aim is insane

I did a Spiderman unranked to Celestial in 10 hours! He’s not as hard as people make him out to be at all. He definitely has counters, all characters do, but people overhype how difficult he really is when in reality getting value with him was simple, just harrass the backline.

A huge point you missed is in general most melee hero’s are much more fun, engaging, and satisfying to play. Like you can shoot in so many other games why do I need to in a super hero game? If I wanted to use a machine gun I’d play cod over punisher. If I wanted to use a big pistol I’d play destiny not Bucky. I truly feel most hero’s aren’t that fun cause there designed to have some lame projectile attack
