I also have EDS the gene I got is a "suspected gene for possible Ehlers Danlos" I meet the clinical criteria because I am super bendy. Anyway the gene is COL9A3. It affects the hips really badly. So on my worst days where I need to sit and cry because it hurts so bad, I will reach for a cane and I make the avocado spray (avocado pit soaked in 91% isopropyl alcohol for 4 plus days) it helps.
