Because people dont want to be advertised to for one. Also though tik tok’s algorithm is not designed to push music content in general. I stagram is better for this. Tik tok is about making connection and the algorithm pushes content that gets more engagement and music just doesnt get that much engagement. Think about it. When was the last time you thought? Oh I wanna find some new music. I’m gonna go on TikTok. Maybe you do but most people do not.

Cuz the algorithm won’t let you try and get people to go to a different platform like Spotify. Also because they don’t get paid for you promoting music so they want you to pay for promotion. It’s irritating honestly. TikTok drives me nuts sometimes 😂

Yeah, they shadow band the music promotion cause they want you to pay for ads. but when you make a motivational vid and it goes semi viral. Hopefully that new audience finds your music through the motivational videos.
