It’s not just palm trees in California. It’s mostly eucalyptus trees because they produce a oil that kills everything in the ground and it’s very flammable oil.

Braxford trees should also be considered hostile agriculture. They're the trees with okay white flowers but smell like rotting fish. The only reason they're placed in cities is because of the flowers

eucalyptus trees also aren’t native to california! they’re literally just pure fuel bcs they’re so full of oil and they reproduce and grow like crazy! they’re also insanely resilient even to fires so they always come back
