G :
For the past 1 month and 9 days, he had been talking to so many girls — even while he was with me. I could feel it in my heart, that heavy, painful feeling telling me something was wrong. He had changed, and no matter how much I tried to ignore it, my intuition kept screaming the truth.
When I confronted him, when I was hurt and fighting for our love, all he said was, “Can you stop fighting and getting angry?” He blamed me, as if my pain was the problem.
He swore to me that he wasn’t talking to anyone else. I wanted to believe him. I really did. But he refused to give me his phone, and that’s when I knew. I took the step that revealed everything, even though I knew it would break me.
He lied. He cheated — while being with me. After everything I gave him, after every bit of love and loyalty, this is how he chose to treat me. And the worst part? He didn’t even fight for me. He blocked me, turned his back, and didn’t even say sorry.
This pain has changed me, but it has also taught me one of the most important lessons of my life. After 1 year and 2 months, it’s over.
