Do they ever catch a fish? Wouldn’t they all be dead if they didn’t? Rarely does a wild animal do a repetitive task and get no results, (unless there is some other influence).

We got to fish next to a colony of Black Skimmers in West Galveston Bay in June. They just stayed there 40-50ft away from us the entire time. Beautiful birds, and so light they appear to defy gravity.
