Columbias growth isnt beneficial to all age groups/demographics. It can be a hit or miss for various reasons. We are the country that is slowly shifting to the city life. Its a huge adjustment

As a native that’s lived in many other states and cities. Columbia is the option for my family and I. I’ll take Cola over CLT or ATL.

I think we all agree we don’t like the hwy 20/26 interchanges, construction on anything here takes 1000000 years, the potholes cause whiplash, cutting down ever tree doesn’t make sense and we don’t need anymore Dollar Generals. 😂 There’s no split.

Ok here’s the thing. Those of us who grew up here have dealt with it being nothing for YEARS. They only started adding cooler things in the past 5-10 years and even then it’s not necessarily what the locals want. I’ve lived here my entire life except for a very small 2 year stint in Charlotte for my husband’s job and I can definitely say Columbia is not it.
