I guess I misinterpreted your video. I saw a dad grieving a little cause his baby is growing up and making choices for herself. We raise our kids to be independent but it hurts a little.

I did finish the first video, and i think its because you said that Amor had been wanting to cut her for a year and you had said no previously… its good that you came around and let her cut her hair, but i think thats why ppl got ruffled up 😅 please dont come for me, its just a thought ❤️

My daughter had super long hair and it took me until she was in middle school to accept the haircut because I felt she wouldn’t look like the little girl i was used to and I just loved her hair. It wasn’t anything beyond just how much I loved her hair. Nothing to do with being beautiful

My mom chopped my hair short my entire childhood & I cried & always said I'm never cutting it once I'm old enough! and I don't I just trim it.

My interpretation was seeing a dad being emotional because his baby was at a stage where she was self aware. The self confidence to make a decision and her 2 Dads acknowledged and respected her choice.

I saw a daddy that was trying to cope with the realization that his baby girl was growing into a person with thoughts, visions and opinions before his very eyes. Like you blinked and all of the sudden your baby wasn’t a baby anymore. It’s said that hair holds memories and when Kyler would comb it into place and you immediately put your hands in it, l felt you needing to connect with the toddler one last time.

I took it as once Amor cut her hair, she was becoming more grown up and not your "little girl" anymore. It's ok Dad, many of us parents want our children to stay little.... for just a little longer. ♥️

Culturally our instinct is to pierce their ears young and let their hair grow long. Once they want to cut it yes we should listen if they are consistent. You did the right thing. There was no need for them to comment if they finished the video. You're amazing parents.
