cats are almost the opposite. my girls came home FURIOUS thwy couldn't be little hussies anymore, and my boy cat came home crying like "momma i dont feel good snuggle me please"

my male dog got fixed 3 days ago. when the vet opened the door he threw himself out so hard he ripped up a freshly clipped nail so it was blood on the floor, he did not stop running while the vet just stood there holding his leash calling another vet to come over with something to stop the bleeding and i had to hold him like a crying toddler so the vets could put that on his bleeding nail and then he refused to walk the next 12h🤦♀️😂 and oh god when we had to remove the band aid... he would have murderd us in our sleep if he didnt have a cone so big that he cant get up on the bed and it took alot of treats for him to not be furious at us anymore😂

I got my dog snipped and my bf picked him up after the vet and when I got home my dog wouldn’t even look at me for 2 days he was so upset I took him to the vet to get snipped 😂

We've had our lab mix for 10 years now. Every single time we go to the vet, he looks at me like he remembers the Ultimate Betrayal. He also still checks to see if they've grown back. 😂

Mine was still a little loopy when he came out and when he got home and I gave him his dinner he just sat there and drooled on it he was so out of it he forgot how to get the food from the bowl to his mouth 😂 had to hand feed him like a baby

My boy stood in the centre of our living room for well over an hour after we picked him up. He was standing so still like a statue. Like he was both groggy AF from the sedation and also hella offended that we'd done that to him and was ready to leave once the room stopped spinning 😂

Our female had multiple surgeries and vet appointments she needs sedation and is always like a "dying swan" afterwards even though she otherwise isn't the big cuddle bug. She just wants to be with her mommies afterwards. Our male is a giant cuddle bug and didn't had any surgery yet but needed to be sedated twice for check ups. He HATES us afterwards and doesn't even want to look at us. 3 days ago he went to the groomer and he still refuses to cuddle 80% of the time. 🤣 My boy cat though is the most clingy thing that ever lived after whatever happens. Can be a vet appointment, someone else taking care of them for a couple of days or even just when I come home from a longer shift then usual. 🤣

Even though the ladies go though a much more involved surgery, it's always the boys coming from the back like "Mommy you'll never believe what they did to me I'm never trusting a vet or you or a car ride ever again 😭"

🤣 my dog was like that. Launched out like racehorse when he got woken up then promptly dropped to the floor and slept for another half hour. My mums female walked out, looked at her and then turned around and wanted nothing to do with her.

my female cat was just.... EXUSE ME MOTHER I NEED CUDDLES. I was so worried she would hate me cos she was upset about the whole car ride itself... but when she got home she just wanted cuddles and head scratches

I had a girl who woke up early after her spay and started trying to batter her way out of the kennel, had to get glued back together. My latest boy just got neutered last week and he made a beeline for me at pickup and needed all the cuddles. He has decided to make the cone everyone’s problem.

my husband went to pick up our female dog akasha she's a staffy who just got spayed and the vet tech brought her out to him on a leash as soon as she saw my husband she turned around cause she was mad at him 🤣
