@alanababana: Section 453 and 507 just quietly passed through the House Appropriations Committee and if you care about clean air, clean water, and holding corporations accountable when they poison people, you should be furious. Here’s what they do: Section 453 gives pesticide manufacturers legal immunity from lawsuits — even if their products are later proven to cause cancer, birth defects, or neurological damage. Even if they lied about the safety data. Even if their chemicals poison children. You can’t sue them. Not anymore. ☣️Section 507 blocks the EPA from finalizing or enforcing any new risk assessments for PFAS chemicals aka “forever chemicals.” This bill ensures the EPA can’t do anything about it. So tell me again how this is making America healthy again?
