@fullcirclefarmsanctuary: Jupiter is Home! Jupiter is back at Full Circle Farm Sanctuary after a brief stay at Auburn for his regular hoof care and checkup. The entire herd paused their afternoon routines to greet him—cows form deep bonds, and when one of their own is away, the absence is truly felt. Most of the FCFS cows receive routine hoof care on-site at the sanctuary, thanks to our trusted farrier. However, Jupiter requires a bit more specialized attention. Due to chronic hoof issues—including recurring abscesses—he takes several trips to Auburn each year for advanced treatment to keep him healthy and mobile. And keeping a cow like Jupiter (all 6 feet and 2,400 pounds of him!) on his feet is no small task—it’s vital to his well-being. His next check-up is scheduled in just six weeks, and each visit takes careful planning, staff coordination, and transportation—often during the hottest times of the year.
