I’m so use to international flights that an internal flight I showed up 5 hrs early as if it was an international flight. Got stuck waiting to check in before security I was so early lol

I feel this! I was mid mimosa near my gate a few years ago when they switched my gate to the other end of the airport. Had to run to get there on time. I don’t run lol!

Yup same. It sucks but you can get the set up close to make sure are ready to go and can hear them announce anything. That is what my over thinking brain goes. Welxome to anxiety lol

I’m an airline employee and I’m still this way. I have to be there SO early, see my gate in person (even though I know this airport like the back of my hand), and then go get food. And sit for 3 hours at my gate. lol

WAIT!! KEEP CHECKING THE GATE NUMBER!! I did the same thing last time I flew, only realizing 15 minutes before boarding THEY MOVED THE GATE! I was so deep in my audio book I damn near missed it!! 🖤🖤

Ah yes. The ritual. This uses concentration. if you lose concentration, the gate may change. You can't go sit down and eat, you Must bring the food back to the gate for continued concentration on said ritual. 😩
