Looking back now yall really did the most with this comment, I’m sure in the moment it felt shady but really reality lara does lowkey hold it down for some black girls who relate to her more than manon, due to her skin color being darker and represented in big media manon IS black but she is also lighter skinned so it’s really each to their own, personally I love them both and they hold it down FOR ALL GIRLS who inspire to be themselves and represented

Icl naisha is kind of shady for this because just cause Lara has a darker skin tone all of the sudden she can "represent" us darkskin black girls... so only people with darker skin tones can represent "being black" being black is more than just being a darkskin it colourism that may cause some different levels of racist experiences is like being darkskin is such a "struggle" and only a person of the darkest skin can represent that...
