Vaseline works also. I use it a couple times a year and works great.

Why can't you just put a regular toilet in and take all the water out when you travel. When you set up fill it up. ?

I’m going to have to get some grease. I replaced my seal with a Dometic seal from Amazon and it didn’t change anything

My toilet leaks from the foot pedal on the side when flushing. I would love to see a video related to that issue.

I had the foot lever pivot point underneath the ball seal pop out when I was flushing my black tank with one of those wands. Couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t sealing properly. Replaced the seal and no luck. Then accidentally popped it back into place. Glad I figured it out!

Just replaced the seal on my Dometic. It’s a two piece and I had to remove the bowl from the base, replace the seal then put the bowl back on. Definitely more complicated but it took me 20 minutes.

Ours is actually the spring. The seal is fine but the spring mechanism is over stretched.

Unless you have a Thetford Toilet, those are a pain, because you have to pull the toilet and unbolt the bowl from the base. One thing about a dometic toilet that is better.
