He lost his job awhile ago and found a new job which didn't fit well with him so he quit. He keeps complaining that he's broke but doesnt cut his spending, like grabbing drinks with friends (Didnt get me a 4 year anniversary gift tho cuz he's broke yk) also complains about his weight... but he does nothing to fix it. I'm trying to be supportive/ push him to do something, but then I'm just "stressing" him out. He loves me dearly but I feel drained. No suprises, no plans, no real effort. Just barely the bare minimum. I feel unseen. I feel stuck in a routine.

I did too when he first lost his job, but after the 3rd time I knew I had to leave bc he wasn’t changing and he clearly had no motivation to help me out around the house or with any bills

This is my current situation right now. He broke up with me literally Monday night all because I called him out on his attitude about something. He didn’t cheat, didn’t abuse or manipulate me, just ended things cause to him I was “taking sides or not defending him” against my family. I was there when he had no job, no money, couldn’t take me out but I stayed. Now I’m focusing on me and my daughter and our future.

You know it really gets me is there as women that repost this that are total narcissist. I’m sure this post applies to a lot of women out here in this world, but I for one know someone that did and she was taken care of for six years, never had to work, never had to pay for anything And the moment she decided that things weren’t going her way. The relationship took a turn for the worst now it’s play victim and the guy that supported her in the children for six years is the bad guy always remember there’s two sides to every story don’t fit in to what you don’t know. Don’t feed into that stuff. Good post though because this really happens to a lot of people I’ve never had. Nobody stick it out with me. If I had nothing it’s always what I can provide and what I can do. It’s a sad world out here.
