It is faster! I also feel like it's more ethical. I don't guide my clients through big trauma until they have been built up with appropriate strategies and coping skills, and at least a beginning understanding of who they are and what they're capable of doing. You don't address fear with fear because that leaves you feeling powerless which is the problem I have, and many others have, with Christianity.
