i LOVE the marionette idea for the dancers, but i kinda think sally should keep her agency a little more? she has a way out of germany thru cliff and she chooses to ignore the political happenings in favor of having a good time bc she knows she won’t be hurt directly, while the dancers are genuinely at risk & are thrown to the wind with no safety net, similar to the emcee

this is a weirdly obscure one but I would LOVE to see how you'd costume the lord of the rings musical! ESPECIALLY galadriel because her role in the story shifts from "mystical elf who shows Frodo the truth of the ring's power" to "one woman chorus who shows up at key moments to sing about life and death and destiny",,, also because I'd love to see how you'd represent all the different fantasy races/cultures

NO LITERALLYTYY cuz im imagining the end scene where the emcee is singing farewell to the audience and we see everyone come back on strings and with the final drumroll everyone’s strings are cut and they just fall lifeless on the ground it’d be insane
