But Prahlad remained unharmed, protected by Vishnu’s grace. ⸻ 🦁 The Avatar of Narasimha Finally, enraged by Prahlad’s unwavering faith, Hiranyakashipu challenged him and asked: “Where is your Vishnu now? Is he in this pillar?” Prahlad calmly replied: “Yes, He is everywhere.” In a fit of rage, Hiranyakashipu struck the pillar with his mace — and out came Lord Vishnu in a fierce form: 🙀 Narasimha – The Man-Lion Avatar • Nara = Man • Simha = Lion To preserve the conditions of the boon, Vishnu appeared as Narasimha, a being who was neither man nor beast.
