@thewoodenpalate: Favorite summer coffee drink ☕️ -2 shots espresso -Approx 1/2 cup cold foamed milk (I love @koatjiofficial ) -Splash of black sesame simple syrup -ice -Black Sesame Simple Syrup- 1 cup water 1 cup sugar (white or cane sugar works best) 4 tablespoons black sesame powder (unsweetened) ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for warmth and depth) 1. Combine water, sugar & sesame powder in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. 2. Simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Don’t let it boil hard—just a gentle simmer to allow the sesame flavor to infuse. 3. Remove from heat. If using, stir in vanilla extract. 4. Let sit for 30 minutes to deepen the flavor. 5. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve. 6. Cool completely, then store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. #blacksesamelatte #icedlatté
