Ever since I was a little girl I have always dreamed of a wedding filled with lots and lots of florals. 💐As I started planning the wedding and getting some numbers for florals, it wasn’t very plausible for us to buy several floral arches (plus all the other decor). On that same note, it would be quite expensive to just buy all the florals new. So we had to be creative - we started watching marketplace, auctions, estate sales, thrift stores and online sales to be able to find these beautiful gorgeous florals (plus decor). All of the florals are faux in this arch! Finding the florals secondhand was an amazing opportunity to give the florals another life (I love thrifting if you can’t tell from my 1970’s thrifted wedding dress, lol!) After several months we had sourced enough florals to begin creating the arches! 🙌 🌺 Making the Floral Arch 🌸 I got the metal arches from marketplace but you can order them on Amazon! I think they are roughly $14-$30 each. We used x4 of pipe insulation from Home Depot ($1.78 each) for each side of the arch so a total of x8 for one arch! You open the foam via the pre cut slit and just wrap the open part around the arch (example on the next slide) We put two arches together to make a floral tunnel to enter the tent so we used roughly 16x of these. There’s a photo of this pipe insulation in the slides! 💐 After the foam is on the arch, feel free to to start poking florals into the foam! You’ll possibly need to use wire to attach any swags (we used one at the very top of the front of the arch). To get a full floral effect, make sure you add in greenery and try to make sure a lot of florals are in the front. 🌺 Setup - Be sure to stake down the arch somehow as it will be very heavy and could tip over with all the florals! I drove four 5’ t-posts into the ground and covered the t-posts with florals and extra table runners. You could also probably use tent stakes, sand bags, etc! 🫶 Happy wedding or event planning!! 💐🫶💕 #WeddingOnABudget #BudgetBride #2025Bride #WeddingPlanningTips #BrideToBe2025 #WeddingTok #DIYWedding #weddinginspo #floraldesign #floral #fyp #weddingtiktok #outdoorwedding #diyfloral
