I understand censorship in spaces designated for children, and even in spaces designated for themes or subjects. Nobody wants to hear about Star Wars in an Undertake area. but both Steam and Itch.io are promoted as being hubs where anyone can post games. It could probably use better tagging, but outright banning and censorship is just inherently wrong in places like that.

As someone who finds a lot of international media, both sfw and nsfw, SO MANY THINGS ARE BEING TAKEN DOWN. Just slowly things get flagged the tags disappear then BOOM no more media… honestly I just started downloading and in some cases printing my media when possible because this is too much… 🙂↕️

YESSSS. Even when it came to SW getting censored on Craigslist and other sites used to vet their clients. I watched a video that said they were doing it to protect sw and keep them out of the industry. But majority of websites in 2018 went to ish. The laws were FOSTA-SESTA. All that did was institute more censorship on the internet and watch how people are getting money.
