In almost the exact situation with my sister after going NC with my mom. She's been great with offering alternatives or letting me know when my mom is going to an event so I can choose a different day or time. Even when I can't find an alternative, she doesn’t shame me for it and we work out our own plan for another day. You and your sister will figure out what works in time 💜
