The top or bra you're wearing underneath that top also matches the berry so you are definitely leaning into the theme. I'm in full agreement that berry is different to purple, I love berry, maroon, burgundy, wine etc, just not really a fan of purple.

This might be way off, but I think when trying to have a shared space with a man the purples and pinks get dropped if favor of colors more “masculine”. Injecting the berry color is a visual way of reclaiming the space
