If you ever get a chance and like ramen, they have a ramen restaurant in the basement called “high five ramen”that uses the barbecued meat from green street. I def reccomend it.

im a big advocate for them. People dont realize how hard it is to do brisket. it takes 12 to 16 or more hours. I lived in Austin , Ft. Worth, and San Marcos Texas and Green Streat Meats is the best smoked bbq in Chicago

They used to have a life sized paper mache zombie hanging above the bar. The logs of wood tell you what’s up. As a Texan raised on smoked brisket, this is my only bbq joint. Pricey but worth it. Smoked beef short ribs are indulgent. They need to lose the sandwich bread though.
