Why have Cambodian people been brainwashed by the Hun Sen family? Hun Sen was able to brainwash the Cambodian people because he has controlled the country for decades. He dominates the media, rewrites history, eliminates political opposition, and spreads propaganda to maintain power. He made the people believe he is a national savior — even though, in reality, he was once a member of the brutal Khmer Rouge regime responsible for the deaths of nearly two million Cambodians.

I’m Thai and I heard and understand Cambodian people deeply. The governments of both countries have their flaws, but the people, Thai and Cambodian civilians, are innocent. No one wants war. No one wants to lose their loved ones. Yet innocent lives are being taken. This isn't justice. This isn't patriotism. This is cruelty. This is inhumane. We need to hold the real decision-makers accountable. The people are not the enemy, the governments and their corrupted systems are. Sending love from a Thai neighbor. I hope we can find peace once again. I don’t know who started first and I don’t care. All I care is no more lives are being taken away. I hope everyone is safe🫶🏻
