You know, if kids don’t respect their coach, that’s a problem. I’m sure that coach wouldn’t have done that if she didn’t have that relationship with her player. I’m team coach. I find it funny how parents think it’s coaches job to “home train” their kids. No, coaches are there to teach them mechanics and how to play and about team play. It’s not their job to teach players or parents not to be aholes

Not abuse. Kid was running her mouth. Coach probably needs to figure out a better way to handle a mouthy player but in the end she’s doing this kid a favor. If this child never learns any respect for authority, what’s going to happen later in life when a boss or police officer says something she doesn’t agree with?
