I don’t think Amelie is evil ngl, it’s a weird grey area. It’s kinda like god. She’s the EE. She is setting into motion the last stranding yes but it’s also actively pushing Sam (fighting against the EE) but at the same time pushing Higgs (fighting with the EE). I think she does this cause she herself is not a god but a human with god like powers. She strives for extinction but she knows nothing else, but fights it because she doesn’t want it to happen. Idk that’s just my theory. My game theory.
