Dogs have been bred for desired behaviors, sensory capabilities, and physical attributes. Dog breeds vary widely in shape, size, and color. They are social animals that thrive on company and a pack. They seek companionship much more often than a cat, as cats enjoy their solitude and dependency, and may not want prolonged contact than a dog who sees us part of their pack. Dogs bark and cats meow. Dogs need to be potty trained and in cats you give them litter and usually they already know what to do. Dogs have been around for centuries since the domestication of wolves. There are different ways of domestication. Did you know cats were domesticated twice accidentally? Dogs and cats provide company and support to their human owners, they need sufficient exercise and a healthy diet. They are omnivores just like humans meaning they can eat both plant and meat while being able to digest it properly. Cats are harder to train to appreciate leashes while dogs not so much, but both still require getting used to the foreign object encompassing their body. Some cats and dogs are more active than some and may require more mental exercises as this is as important as physical exercise. Lacking stimulation, the beloved pets can get destructive and bored. While some dogs and cats are just jolly without as much exercise, as they aren't as active, their diet is what needs to be measured accordingly. Bengals and Siamese are examples of active cats and Husky and Belgian Malinois an example of active dogs.
